Frog Park Cleans Up – and Celebrates 25 Years

In October of 2001, more than 1,300 volunteers came together over 10 days to build the two wooden, custom play structures which became the anchors of Frog Park along Temescal Creek.

Today, nearly 25 years later, our community will gather for our semi-annual park clean-up and to celebrate this milestone, sponsored by FROG, the Friends of the Rockridge-Temescal Greenbelt

On Saturday, the 19th of September, everyone is invited to join the cleanup, which starts at 9:00am and goes until noon. FROG will supply gloves and tools, coffee and pastries, please bring your own water. We’ll trim the ivy, clear weeds, fluff the fibar, sift the sand, pick up trash, paint graffiti, and more.

After the cleanup, around noon, we’ll have refreshments, games and crafts for kids, and a recognition of those volunteers who have served the community and Frog Park over the years.

Please join us to celebrate this special event and celebrate this beloved community park!
