Hello Frog Park friends!

In celebration of Earth Day 2022, we are planning a cleanup of Big Frog Park, the Temescal Greenbelt (between Big Frog and Little Frog), Little Frog Park, along with  sealing the Little Frog Park play structure. This year’s Earth Day theme is “The Great Global Cleanup” a campaign to remove billions of pieces of trash from neighborhoods, beaches, rivers, lakes, trails, and parks— to reduce waste and plastic pollution and to improve habitats and prevent harm to wildlife and humans.

Date/Time:
April 23, 9am to 12pm

Locations:
Big Frog Park: meet at the big oak tree by the Big Frog play structure to sign the waiver to participate in the cleanup.
Little Frog Park: for those volunteering to apply non-toxic sealant to Little Frog play structure, meet at the Little Frog Sign.

Tasks include: weeding, pruning, trash pickup, raking, sweeping, and applying non-toxic sealant to Little Frog play structure. Families and groups are welcome. Students needing service hours for school can receive a signed letter verifying their participation.

We ask that you bring your own gardening gloves and refillable water bottles. We will have some gardening gloves on hand, so please bring disposable gloves if you’d like to borrow a pair. We will provide tools, but if you have your own, please feel free to bring them.

Coffee and snacks will be provided to volunteers.

Hope to see you there!
