BART Construction Underway Now, Lasting One Year

BART is upgrading its system to ensure safety in the event of an earthquake. Work hours: 7am-7pm, Monday-Saturday, duration: 1 year. Construction is in progress in the Basketball Court in Hardy Park. FROG Park and the Dog Park will remain open. Traffic lanes will be shifted, sidewalks closed at times, and the Dog Park accessed only from Claremont Ave.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Join your neighbors and friends to sweep, rake, paint, refill the wood chip cushioning, clear, and replant at the annual Fall Maintenance Day at FROG Park.

All adults and kids over the age of 13 (with parental supervision) are invited – there’s something for everyone to do.

ABOUT FROG PARK

The Rockridge-Temescal Greenbelt was created in 2001, culminating years of community effort. FROG Park has since become a central community feature. Hardy and Redondo playgrounds are focal points for children and walkers stroll the connecting greenbelt path, which is fully accessible for the disabled.
