| Greenbelt PHASE II underway
FROG acknowledges financial support from: City
of Oakland departments, Oakland voters for Measure DD funds, Ignacio
de la Fuente and Jane Brunner for contributing PAYGO funds, Friends
of Oakland Parks and Rec AND donors like YOU!
The creation of a community park does not happen
overnight!
WHY PHASE II? Phase I development concentrated on Redondo and Hardy Park construction, as well as
initial landscaping and creek improvements. While much was accomplished, additional planning and financial support
was needed to make the Greenbelt as originally envisioned. Phase II commenced in 2002, upon
completion of Phase I.
